About Me




Hi, I’m Jemma, the heart behind Paws 'n' Promises. I’m a 32-year-old dog (and human) mum based in York with years of hands-on experience looking after dogs of all shapes and sizes. I started this service because I know how much our furry friends mean to us - and how special it is to have them by our side on the most important day of our lives. My promise is to care for your dog as if they were my own, so they can be part of your celebration in a joyful, calm, and safe way. 

Services & Packages

The Pawfect Package - Prices from £295

  • Phone consultation with the couple 
  • Meet & Greet session with the couple and dog of honour
  • Liaise with photographer & wedding coordinator to discuss the big day
  • Pick up from agreed location 
  • 30-40 min walk before arriving at the venue
  • Dog wedding duties including: meet and greet guests, pose for photos, ring bearer
  • How you'd like your dog to be included in your wedding is completely up to you and your pooch

Extra Bits

  • I'll provide treats, water and breaks when needed 
  • Drop off back to agreed location 
  • Additional dogs charged at £80
  • Up to a 30 mile radius of YO24 (will consider further afield) 
  • Dog at wedding a total of 2 hours 
  • Photos sent to the couple 

*Additional extras can be discussed at our phone consultation or our meet and greet as we want your big day to be as perfect as possible.



 We are fully insured including Public Liability, Qualified in Dog First Aid & DBS checked.
